Geva Theatre Center, 75 Woodbury Blvd., Rochester, will present an encore of “Erma Bombeck: At Wit’s End” by Allison Engel and Margaret Engel on March 12-31.
Humorist Erma Bombeck (Pam Sherman) captured her generation’s frustrations by asking, “If life is a bowl of cherries, what am I doing in the pits?” This production, directed by Mark Cuddy, is the story behind America’s favorite average housewife who championed the lives of women with a wit that sprang from the truth.
Last season’s production broke box office records at Geva. The run was extended twice.
Tickets start at $34. Call (585) 232-4382 or visit gevatheatre.org for information.
